About Yailen Hernandez
Born into a family of artists in Cuba, Yailyn's earliest memories are of singing alongside her mother and grandmother. For ten years she performed with Havana's acclaimed children's project "El Río," appearing on television and major stages while earning awards in music, dance, and theater. She went on to train as a music teacher and earned her professional singer certification with Cuba's Antonio María Romeu Music Company.
Arriving in Las Vegas as an immigrant, Yailyn started from scratch — singing on the streets, connecting with local musicians, and working her way into casinos, restaurants, and events across the city. She has performed with several renowned local groups and now stars as Selena in the Queen Selena Show at the Alexis Park Resort, produced by Pete Housley.
Paying tribute to Selena Quintanilla — her lifelong inspiration — is both a dream and a privilege. Every performance reflects her family's musical heritage and her conviction that dreams come true through passion, perseverance, and heart.
